Hi hi! My name's April Rowland and I'm a senior illustrator. I love colors and shapes...and animals (they always sneak into my work). I enjoy communicating a direct message with my images audience, and combining bright, bold shapes and patterns. More and more I've been trying to incorporate text and patterns into my work and experimenting. I have an addiction to illustrator but I love media and trying new things with it!This will be my first year attending the workshop (admitedly, I was too scared to submit anything last year, lost a lot of good oppurtunities because of that silly fear) and I look forward to working with ya'll!
